Johanna knows firsthand how important recognizing-ritually-the death of a loved one is. She believes that crafting a personalized ceremony that reflects the life and values of the individual is of paramount importance. To help create a deeply meaningful ceremony that is as unique as the individual, Johanna calls upon her varied background in art and design, cultural studies, and science. She is comfortable performing ceremonies in traditional venues, but specializes in alternative ceremonies. Johanna can perform rites of passing including ash scatterings, memorials, themed funerals or memorials, rites for non-traditional faiths, and humanist/non-faith-based ceremonies.
